Noone really wants to see
the one behind the screen
selective information flow
keep our conscience clean
pretty pictures please the crowd
they don't dare to feel
the pain you're keeping down so proud
the only truth that's real
A world in greyscales
tinted filters
life's on sale yeah
do we know what we're doing
present a facade online
provoke a response
confuse the fame for proof of life
yet you know that it pointless
it leaves you empty inside
always empty inside
Superficial beings
we follow the marked route
nod our heads agreeing
although we're full of doubt
what will it take to see beyond
the shade that clouds our eyes
to make a change, react, respond
before what matters dies
A world in greyscales
tinted filters
life's on sale yeah
do we know what we're doing
present a facade online
provoke a response
confuse the fame for proof of life
yet you know that it pointless
it leaves you empty inside
always empty inside
Do we want this
do we need this
can we face this
will we change this
do we want this
do we need this
can we face this
will we change this
will we change it
A world in greyscales
tinted filters
life's on sale yeah
do we know what we're doing
present a facade online
provoke a response
confuse the fame for proof of life
yet you know that it pointless
it leaves you empty inside
always empty inside

Probably one of the biggest surprises to me was finding out about BlakLight by just browsing. Very reminiscent of groups like Depeche mode. Has a nice, classic sound with modern additions sprinkled in, and definitely worth a buy. Jet Stromfield
